Malaysia's online entertainment industry continues to grow at a rapid pace. More and more Malaysians are looking for a platform that truly understands their needs – from language and payment methods to the types of games that matter most to them. That's exactly why 1988rice was built in direct response to local market demand. More than just another casino site, 1988rice is designed specifically for the Malaysian community, with a Bahasa Malaysia interface, local customer support, and full integration of Malaysian payment methods.
Since launching eight years ago, 1988rice has built a solid reputation as a trusted platform. Over 980,000 registered members have experienced firsthand the convenience we offer — from office workers in Kuala Lumpur spinning slots on their lunch break, to football fans in Johor Bahru watching and betting on Malaysia Super League matches. Everyone has a place at 1988rice.
Football is Malaysia's number one sport. At 1988rice, we offer full coverage of the Malaysia Super League, Premier League, English Premier League (EPL), La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and more. Players can place bets pre-match or in-play as the action unfolds. Our odds are updated in real time, so you always get the best value.
Beyond football, we also cover badminton — Malaysia's sport of national pride. With players who have put the country on the world stage, betting on matches like the All England or the BWF World Championships becomes even more thrilling when you have a stake in every shot. Esports is also rapidly gaining ground among younger Malaysian players, and 1988rice supports betting on Mobile Legends, DOTA 2, CS:GO, and many more.
Slots are the most popular game category at 1988rice. With over 300 titles from the world's leading providers, there's something for everyone. Choose from classic 3-reel slots for a straightforward experience, 5-reel video slots with cinematic storylines, or progressive jackpot slots with prize pools that grow every second. Our average RTP (Return to Player) rate is 97% – among the highest in the Malaysian market.
Don't miss our locally themed slots featuring Malaysian cultural elements – from batik motifs to kampung landscapes. More than just a game, it's an experience that resonates with the Malaysian spirit.
For those who crave the authentic casino experience without leaving home, 1988rice's Live Casino is the answer. Powered by high-definition video streaming, you can take a seat at the blackjack, roulette, baccarat, or dragon tiger table alongside real, licensed, and professionally trained dealers. Games run around the clock — there is truly no closing time at 1988rice.
Exclusive VIP tables are available for Gold-tier members and above, featuring higher betting limits and a more private gaming environment. Our dealers are fluent in Malay, making every session more comfortable and enjoyable for Malaysian players.
Poker at 1988rice is more than just a game — it's a test of strategy, psychology, and nerve. Texas Hold'em tables are available across a wide range of buy-ins, from RM 20 to RM 5,000+. Weekly poker tournaments with prize pools of up to RM 50,000 are held every Saturday night — don't miss your chance to pit your skills against players from across Malaysia.
European Roulette features a single '0' slot, giving players better odds than the American variant. Bets can be placed on single numbers, number groups, colours, or parity. With an intuitive interface and smooth 3D animations, every spin of the wheel feels like you're right on the floor of a Monte Carlo casino.
We take your personal data security seriously. All information collected is used solely for account management and service improvement purposes. 1988rice will not share your data with any third party without your consent. Deposits can be made via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and online bank transfers via FPX including Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. Minimum deposit of just RM 20, making it accessible to everyone.
Withdrawals are processed within 5–30 minutes for eWallets and within 2 hours for bank transfers. There are no hidden fees for deposits or withdrawals. For VIP members, withdrawals are prioritised and can be completed in under 15 minutes.
Real experiences from the 1988rice community across Malaysia
"I've tried plenty of other platforms, but 1988rice is truly in a league of its own. Deposits via Touch 'n Go clear in under 2 minutes, and the odds on Liga Super football are competitive – better than anything else I've used. Couldn't be happier!"
"Been playing slots here for a long time — last month I hit a RM 8,200 jackpot right in the middle of the night. Withdrawals are incredibly fast too, funds were in my Maybank within 20 minutes. Customer service replies in Bahasa Melayu as well, so everything is easy to understand."
"Absolutely love the Live Casino here. The dealers speak fluent Malay, the baccarat tables are open 24/7, and the VIP programme is genuinely worth it – 15% cashback every week. If they added poker tournaments more often, it'd be perfect. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to friends!"
"The platform is genuinely stable. Even during the EPL Final there was zero lag and odds updated instantly. Now that I'm a Gold member, I get priority withdrawals. They even cover Mobile Legends e-sports — it's a truly complete platform for every type of player."
"The free daily spin wheel is genuinely fun! I've won bonus credits quite a few times. The interface looks great and is easy to use even on mobile. Now that GrabPay is supported for deposits, it's even more convenient. Big thumbs up to the 1988rice team!"
"Been playing poker here for over a year now. The Saturday night tournaments are genuinely exciting with big prize pools. The support team is responsive and professional – when I had a technical issue once, it was resolved within 5 minutes. The most reliable platform I've ever come across."
